Practical Test Receipt Tool Available
The applicant pays you. But do you issue them a receipt as a DPE?
Many don’t, and it’s a good idea so you have tracking that they paid, so they can document it if they want to use it for taxes, reimbursement, or documentation of training costs purposes.
So, a tool is now available on this website.
You can click the image below, click here, or to go the Documents/Resources tab and select the Practical Test Receipt page to be taken to a simple tool that allows you to issue a receipt that is in pdf format (you can download it and email it to them or print it) for applicants when you conduct a practical test.
The tool doesn’t save any information, it just fills in the form and lets you issue a receipt.
It’s just a good professional habit to issue receipts for practical tests to applicants.
It is not an FAA form. It does not replace IACRA, the temporary certificate, a Notice of Disapproval, or your own records. It is just a simple, professional receipt so you are not inventing a Word template every Saturday or writing the fee on a napkin. Use it if it helps. Keep a copy if you want one. Then get on with the next applicant.
Click here or the image below to be brought to the page to try it. Start using it on every practical test you do if it helps you.
