Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) issued to provide regulatory relief in response to COVID-19
On April 30, 2020, the FAA has issued a Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) to provide, in part, regulatory relief to persons who have been unable to comply with certain training, recent experience, testing and checking requirements due to the national emergency concerning the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
This email is to raise awareness to this relief as it may affect the way you conduct your delegated authority.
