  1. Some good points…..I will keep this short…if the applicant comes with a basic 172 with no GPS, fore flight, etc….the check ride is still completed…you do not have to have an electronic NAV system on board…the FAA cannot make an applicant have fore flight, etc…..Shawn

    • Very good point Shawn, just a nice clarification that they made that “allows” us to use things that are great resources that were questionable in the past!
