FAA Issues SFAR Allowing Extensions of Many Operating Limitations Which May Affect Work Done by DPEs
The FAA has issued a Special Federal Aviation Regulation (SFAR) this past week that allows extension of many operating limitations about which DPEs should be aware as they conduct practical test and certification efforts in the upcoming months.
This SFAR is a result of COVID-19 effects and will allow extensions of things such as knowledge test expirations, flight reviews, and much more.
DPEs are recommended to review this SFAR or refer to it when questions come up in the next couple of months when doing the work of designees.
